Mission
  • Serving people in our community who are poor and in need so that all may experience the transforming power of Christ’s love.

Vision
  • Transformed Lives
  • Through caring relationships, we respond to the physical and emotional needs of those we serve, demonstrating a loving God to hurting people. We recognize that the most critical need for each person is always spiritual and can only be met by Christ. We become passionately involved in ministry confident that, in Christ, life change will be the result. The success of Lighthouse Ministries is measured by the transformed lives of people who are poor, those in need and the volunteers who serve them.

  • Transformed Community
  • As our hearts are captured by Christ's compassion for those in need, we respond according to our unique gifts and resources. Through the adventure of serving, we develop our gifts and mature into leaders. As leaders we excite the entire church body to service, creating a powerful culture of compassion at Mariners Church.

  • Transformed Church
  • In Christ there are no boundaries between church and community. We strive for the day when He will break the cycles of poverty, ignorance and abuse that ensnare people. We seek to build a community that values compassion, generosity and humility above power, wealth and prestige. We envision a time when those who have nothing will worship and serve beside those who have much, each recognizing that their worth and significance can be found in Christ alone.
